De-stress and pamper yourself at Christchurch Harbour Spa

Christchurch Harbour Spa is a haven of tranquillity and relaxation. Located on the Mudeford harbour in Dorset, this spa is designed to leave you feeling truly refreshed and pampered. There are the most amazing views across to the delightful beach huts of Mudeford spit. The Harbour Spa, which is home to five treatment rooms, an indoor swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, sauna, salt grotto and crystal steam room is open seven days a week. The laid back luxury of Christchurch Harbour Hotel is a perfect setting for their many spa treatments and spa packages.

I arrived at 10 am to full use of the spa facilities for a couple of hours before my two course lunch on the Upper Deck Restaurant. The views alone from the restaurant make a very beautiful accompaniment to a delicious lunch of a very luxurious fish pie followed by fruit crumble. The menu was spot on for a gastronomical treat with a varied choice of good English food.

Feeling satiated, I had a fabulous treatment that started with a sensory test to tailor the oils to my needs. I chose a relaxation and de-stress combination of oils. My lovely therapist got to work with restoring my skin with an aromatherapy full body exfoliation. This was followed by a warm Marine Mud Wrap to rehydrate and moisturise my body. Following this, I had the most wonderful head massage that had me feeling deeply relaxed and almost asleep. Using my chosen essential oils, the treatment was completed with a full body massage. Heaven!

Christchurch Harbour Spa offers a variety of spa treatments, packages and spa days for both men and women. There is the Marine Spa Day for two for £145.00 per couple, which includes treatments and lunch. There are treatments on offer for pregnancy and holistic alternative treatments also. So I think you would agree, something for everyone here.

At Women UK, we would highly recommend Christchurch Harbour Spa for a very relaxing spa day with either your loved one or your friends.
